Hello, how are you? Today I will talk about a very nice procedure: neck liposuction or face and neck liposuction. This procedure involves making three small incisions, each three millimeters long. One is made under the chin, in the line where the fold between the chin and the neck is, and the other two are made under the ear, rarely noticeable. Through these incisions, a very small cannula is inserted to dissect and remove localized fat. It is performed on people with localized fat in the chin or neck area and can even address part of the cheek. It is done under local anesthesia, sometimes with sedation, sometimes without. It is a procedure with minimal pain and can usually be combined with other procedures like rhinoplasty or mentoplasty to slightly modify the mandibular definition. The recovery process takes about three weeks using a neck brace, but it does not require a work stoppage.
